 This handsome silverback was my first introduction to a Mountain Gorilla. He chose to lay so close to me. He captivated me. He was one of three silverbacks in the family group. So sweet and he was no more than what seemed to be a metre away I didn't want to stop photographing him. Caught between wanting to capture his image and appreciating the moment. This moment I had wanted to experience for as long as I could remember. Here I was amongst the Mountain Gorillas and it was an incredible feeling. I wanted to wrap my arms around him and give him a big kiss.
