Sitting in an open safari jeep in the late afternoon observing the wildlife of Amboseli National Park, Kenya feeling so grateful to be there. Photographing these beautiful animals all around  me appreciating every moment. My soul was content. I didn't want to be anywhere else but to be surrounded by these amazing creatures in this amazing place.  The atmosphere was captivating. I looked to the other side of me and in the distance I saw this huge magnificent creature. The sun was setting behind him and the dust was flying with every step he took. I was so excited. My heart was racing not due to fear but exhilaration. Having watched so many documentaries I knew this elephant bull was in musth. I instantly starting photographing him not knowing what was going to happen next as he seemed to be heading directly as us.

I kept snapping away so excited. He had been on the horizon when he had initially caught my attention.  Closer and closer he was coming directly at us. I looked around and there was no other elephants or vehicles (sometimes they mistake vehicles for elephants). I knew he was headed straight for us. I knew we were the bull elephant that he was heading for or so he thought. I was mesmerised. He arrived at the opposite side of the road, we quickly turned the jeep engine on and with that he made a sharp left hand turn and strode straight past us. He was breath taking.
